The Telos Community was discussing the possible need to change the threshold for Telos Worker Proposals to be considered passed. At the moment, a 5% vote participation and 50% majority is required for a proposal to proceed, and they are considering whether to make these requirements more stringent.
GoodBlock will soon submit three proposals to increase the stringency of these requirements. If none of these three proposals pass, then the WPS threshold will remain unchanged.
Proposal A: Increase the voter participation from 5% to 20% of voteable tokens.
Proposal B: Increase the voter participation from 5% to 20% of voteable tokens and increase the passage requirement from >50% Yes vs No votes (excluding Abstain votes) to >55%.
Proposal C: Increase the voter participation from 5% to 20% of voteable tokens and increase the passage requirement from >50% Yes vs No votes (excluding Abstain votes) to >65%.
These proposals will also increase the threshold of votes required to receive the submission deposit from 0.1% of the voting tokens to 5%.
In less than a week these proposals will be submitted on-chain and all TLOS token holders will be able to vote Yes, No or Abstain.
