During this tough period when we are all forced to stay locked in quarantine, video calls have become increasingly necessary. kChat has launched the first EOS on-chain service that allows its users to securely video chat.
kChat is fully decentralized, so it cannot be censored or shutdown by any authority, and it is a fully serverless dApp. In addition, all video calls are always end-to-end encrypted, ensuring a high level of privacy and security for its users, unlike platforms currently used such as Zoom or Skype.
kChat is already live on the mainnet, and you can access it on kchat.org. There is also a version on jungle accessible on jungle.kchat.org.
Login using your EOS or Jungle account, ensure that you have enough RAM (at least 4kb)
Make sure that your friend is logged in as well
Enter your friend's name in the text box at the top of the page and press call
One your friend accepts your call, you can enable video by clicking on the video icon at the top of the page
